Man critical after being found injured in Liverpool

The victim was found injured in Eaton Road, police say
A man who was found injured outside a property is in a critical condition, police have said.
The 58-year-old was discovered with a head injury in Eaton Road, Liverpool at about 01:00 GMT on Wednesday, Merseyside Police said.
A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and assaulting a police officer. He was also detained for resisting arrest and criminal damage.
He remains in police custody.
Police appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
