Potholes in Norfolk range in size and scale, but how bad are they in your area? We want to know as part of BBC research called The Road Ahead which looks at council pothole provision. To take part, e-mail your pothole pictures to norfolk@bbc.co.uk and we will add the worst potholes to this gallery.
These photographs were taken on roads around Norwich. When taking your pictures, at no time should you endanger yourself or others or take unnecessary risks. Norfolk County Council spent £3.5m repairing damage on Norfolk's roads in the winter of 2009/2010.
Potholes tend to get worse in winter as water gets into the tarmac and expands when it freezes, making the cracks bigger and the holes larger.
Potholes near the side of the road are especially dangerous for motorbikes and bicycles. The Department for Transport has announced that councils in England will be given more than £100m extra funding to spend on repairing potholes this year. If safe to do so, e-mail us your worst pothole pictures in Norfolk to norfolk@bbc.co.uk
