A 15-year-old girl who died when she was struck by a lorry in north Norfolk has been named by police.

Martha Seaward was hit while walking near the A148 at Sheringham Park, close to the junction with Lodge Hill, at about 17:00 GMT on Friday.

The lorry was travelling towards Cromer. The teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her family said Martha, one of nine children, was a "huge character" and "dearly loved".

Norfolk Police said the male driver of the Scania lorry was uninjured and had been assisting police with their investigation.
