Caister-on-Sea house blaze death prompts investigation

A man has died in a blaze that broke out at a house in a seaside resort.
His body was discovered after police and fire crews were called to Covent Garden Road in Caister-on-Sea, at about 14:00 BST on Sunday.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and a joint Norfolk police and fire investigation is under way.
Neighbours said they thought the dead man was in his 50s and the fire service was alerted by his parents, who were believed to be visiting.
They said paramedics carried out CPR and used a defibrillator for about half an hour.
"His parents called the fire brigade straight away and they came within what seemed like minutes," said one neighbour, who did not wish to give her name to the BBC.
"He was a very pleasant man in his 50s at a guess. He always spoke [to you] but he kept himself very much to himself.
"It appeared to be a small fire as it did not take long to put out."
The house is on an estate close to a caravan park on the outskirts of Caister.
