Norwich to London Passengers rescued after train hits horse

About 30 passengers had to be rescued from a train into London after a it hit a horse.
Greater Anglia said the 07:05 BST service from Norwich to Liverpool Street collided with the animal between Norwich and Diss.
The incident caused damage to the train and injured the horse, with the line reopening at about 13:00.
Juliette Maxam from Greater Anglia said another train had to go to the site to rescue the stranded passengers.

She said about 30 passengers were on the 07:05 train, which was the first service out of Norwich.
Ms Maxam said the collision "caused a great deal of damage to the train so it was unable to continue its journey".
It caused disruption for much of the morning with several cancellations on the line and other connection services.
The line between Norwich and London Liverpool Street also serves Ipswich, Manningtree, Colchester and Chelmsford.
