King's Lynn: Four charged after alleged fights and assaults

Four people have been charged following a series of incidents including a fight which left a man with serious injuries.

Norfolk Police said an altercation took place in the Littleport Street area of King's Lynn on Sunday at about 04:00 GMT.

A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries but was now in a stable condition, officers said.

The suspects were remanded in custody due to appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

The force said the fight in Littleport Street was linked to other incidents in the town on Saturday afternoon and later on Sunday morning.

  • A 23-year-old man was charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon, in connection with an incident on Blackfriars Road

  • A 26-year-old woman was charged with assault and robbery in connection with the same incident

  • A 21-year-old man was charged with assault and possession of an offensive weapon in connection with an incident in Milfleet Court

  • A 21-year-old man was charged with assault in connection with the Milfleet Court and Blackfriars Road incidents

Various roads were closed during police investigations, but have reopened.
