The family of a nightclub manager found murdered in a Northamptonshire hotel, has issued a plea to help find his killers.

David Ross was found with head injuries in Corby on 17 December and police said his home had also been burgled.

A Ross family statement said: "We need people to come forward with information regardless of how trivial they may think it is."

Three men have been arrested in connection with his death.

Mr Ross, who grew up in Kettering and ran the Rubix club in Corby, was found at the Village Express Hotel.

His home in Chelveston Drive in Corby was burgled and a smartphone, tablet and laptop were stolen but the police said it was likely this happened on 14 December.

The family statement said: "He had many friends from different places who would have cared for him.

"It has now been a month since our beloved David was cruelly taken from us and all we ask is that we can lay him to rest knowing the people responsible for this are brought to justice."

The three arrested men, aged 22, 21 and 18, were bailed pending further enquiries.
