Roade body in car: Death not believed to be suspicious

The woman, who is yet to be identified, was found after officers were called to Abbey Road in Roade

The death of a 38-year-old woman whose body was found in the back of a car is not believed to be suspicious, police have said.

The discovery was made on Abbey Road in Roade, near Northampton, on Saturday.

Northamptonshire Police said a post-mortem examination had been carried out and, pending toxicology results, the death was not considered suspicious.

A 64-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and released under investigation.
