Titchmarsh crash on A14 kills man and woman

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man and a women died in a two-car crash.

The fatal collision happened at the Titchmarsh junction of the eastbound A14 at about 21:20 GMT on Friday.

Northamptonshire Police said the victims, both aged in their 70s, died at the scene when their red Kia Ceed collided with a white Citroen C1.

The driver of the Citroen, aged in his 30s, was taken to University Coventry Hospital with serious injuries.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the accident or has dashcam footage to contact them.
