Woman dies in A509 crash in Wollaston involving three vehicles

A man has been arrested after a woman died in a crash involving three vehicles in Northamptonshire.
A black Ford Ranger, travelling south on the A509 between Wollaston and Bozeat, collided with a silver Ford Mondeo and red Citroen C1 at about 18:30 GMT on Friday.
The Mondeo and the woman's Citroen were travelling in the opposite direction and ended up in roadside hedges.
A 42-year-old man, from Bozeat, was arrested in connection with the death.
He was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released on bail, pending further inquiries.
Police said the woman died at the scene and the occupants of the other vehicles were not injured.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash and dashcam footage.
