Motorcyclist in his 20s dies after hitting tree near Northampton

The motorcyclist left the road between Cornhill Lane and Northampton Road on the A5
A motorcyclist has died after his bike left the road and hit a tree.
The incident happened on the A5 between Towcester and Weedon in Northamptonshire just before 19:30 GMT on Tuesday.
Northamptonshire Police said the rider, a man in his twenties, was pronounced dead at the scene, external and it is not clear why the bike came off the road.
They have appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch.
