Northampton man charged with attempting to murder a baby

Radoslaw Zurek was remanded in custody when he appeared at Northampton Magistrates' Court

A man has appeared in court charged with trying to murder a baby.

Radoslaw Zurek, 28, from Victoria Road in Northampton, appeared before the town's Magistrates' Court at the weekend charged with one count of attempting to murder of a child under one year old.

The charge relates to an incident which took place on 2 January.

Mr Zurek was remanded in custody and is next due to appear at Northampton Crown Court on 19 February.
