Driver found dead as SUV leaves the road near Daventry

The incident happened just outside the village of Crick

A man in his 40s has died after his vehicle left the road and ended up on a verge.

Police said the incident happened on the A428 West Haddon road, just outside Crick in Northamptonshire, at 19:30 GMT on Monday.

Officers said it was not yet known why the grey SsangYong Musso left the carriageway.

They have appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch.
