Alcohol service open over Easter in Nottingham

A charity's alcohol service is opening over the Easter bank holiday to handle an expected influx in people worried about drink problems in Nottingham.

Framework runs its Last Orders triage service from a base in Upper Parliament Street.

It offers people who are concerned about their drinking an assessment followed by a referral for counselling or other help.

The service is available to anyone whose GP is in Nottingham.

Last Orders offers two specialist alcohol services funded by NHS Nottingham City - Specialist Triage and Recovery, both of which opened on 4 April.
