Nottingham parks loyalty card scheme introduced

Loyalty cards are being introduced at Nottingham City Council's parks and heritage sites.
Whenever a site included in the scheme is visited the card will be stamped and for every four stamps, a free activity can be claimed.
The scheme covers attractions including Nottingham Castle, Newstead Abbey, Colwick and Wollaton parks.
The council said it hoped the cards would encourage more people to visit and also reward frequent users.
Activities on offer include a day permit to fish at Colwick Country Park, free car entry to Newstead Abbey and free boat hire at Highfields Park.
David Trimble, portfolio holder for leisure, culture and tourism, said "This is a great offer to all our loyal visitors, rewarding them for their loyalty towards Nottingham's parks, open spaces and heritage sites.
"We hope that the Nottingham Parks and Open Spaces Loyalty Card offer will encourage more visitors to come along to the attractions on offer."
