A man who was killed in a street attack on Christmas Day has been named.

Nottinghamshire Police said Reece Connor suffered a single stab wound in Wollaton Road, near the Crown Island, Nottingham, at about 20:15 GMT on Monday.

The 29-year-old was taken to hospital but died a short time later, the force added.

Two men, 20 and 23, and a 17-year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

They remain in police custody.

Two other men, aged 26 and 32 - who were arrested on suspicion of murder on Tuesday - have been released on police bail.

Det Ch Insp Matt Croome, from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit, said: "I'd once again like to pass on my condolences to Mr Connor's loved ones during what must be an incredibly difficult time for them.

"A large team of officers have been investigating the attack that took Mr Connor's life since it happened."

The force has urged anyone with information, including CCTV and dashcam footage, to come forward.
