A woman has died after being hit by a lorry on a major road in Nottinghamshire.
The 74-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene on the A60 Mansfield Road, in Daybrook, shortly before 14:00 GMT on Monday.
Police said the road would remain closed in both directions "for a number of hours" as an investigation was carried out.
Any witnesses have been asked to contact the force.
The woman's next of kin has been informed, Nottinghamshire Police said.
