A £10,000 reward is being offered for information which leads to the arrest of a man wanted over a series of violent burglaries in Nottingham.
Martin McDonagh, 50, is suspected of carrying out a series of aggravated burglaries in the city.
Police say a man forced his way into a number of homes and stole items from elderly and vulnerable people, some of whom were threated with a knife.
Crimestoppers has offered the reward as part of an "urgent appeal".
The charity said it guaranteed complete anonymity for anyone who came forward with information.
Police say Mr McDonagh is known to frequent the Radford area of the city and appealed for anyone with any information about his whereabouts to contact them.
The force advised people not to approach him.
Det Ch Insp Ruby Burrow said: "McDonagh is wanted in connection with a series of extremely violent burglaries where some victims have been left traumatised.
"These victims have been chosen due to their vulnerability and we will not stop until justice is served."
