Nottinghamshire: Traffic on M1 southbound released after crash

Traffic has been released on the M1 southbound, which had been closed due to a crash.
A lane northbound was also shut following the crash, between junction 27 at Underwood and junction 26 at Nuthall in Nottinghamshire, which was reported at 17:00 BST on Wednesday.
The southbound side was closed for about an hour.
National Highways said there was approximately eight miles of congestion on approach.
The agency warned motorists that this was causing residual delays of more than 80 minutes.
