Police make more arrests after street fight in Eastwood

Police were called to reports of a fight between three men using weapons in Plumptre Way on Friday afternoon

Detectives have arrested three men in connection with an armed fight in Nottinghamshire.

A 21-year-old man suffered an injury to his hand and was later arrested following reports of an altercation in Plumptre Way, in Eastwood, on Friday.

Another three men, two aged 23 and one 24-year-old, have now been arrested on suspicion of affray, Nottinghamshire Police said.

The 21-year-old, who needed treatment for his injury, was released on bail.

Following the incident on Friday at about 15:30 BST, the force said it was still trying to trace two other men.

Det Sgt Charlotte Henson said police still want to hear from any witnesses or those with footage of the incident.

She added: "This incident took place in broad daylight and will have been seen by a number of people."

An investigation is ongoing.
