Former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson has spoken at the Oxford Union about vegetarianism.
Her talk at the University of Oxford started with a video in support of her campaign.
The 43-year-old actress spoke to students about environmental and moral issues and how, she believed, it was "better for your health".
She appeared on the podium alongside Dan Matthews from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta).
The actress, who has been a vegetarian since her teenage years, said the subject was very important to her.
She told BBC News: "We had a great talk it was wonderful.
"We were talking about the easiest ways to go vegetarian.
"I think we had a really profound effect on the audience."
Ms Anderson has taken part in several campaigns for Peta to highlight animal rights.
