Oxfordshire postal vote assurance after delay

Two Oxfordshire councils have reassured worried postal voters they should have now received their forms ahead of Thursday's elections.
South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District councils said a number of concerned voters had contacted them worried their forms had not arrived.
The authorities said all postal votes have been sent and should have arrived in the post by Saturday morning.
They have told voters they can also return forms at council offices.
A spokesman said: "We are confident all district and parish postal votes have now gone out and are arriving with voters.
"There may be a few that will arrive on Saturday, which is still plenty of time for voters to post them back to us before polling day."
The councils said worried residents could also call a helpline on 01235 540310.
