Didcot A power station development plans revealed

Proposals to redevelop the site of the demolished Didcot A Power Station have been unveiled.
Developers Clowes and Graftongate want to build 400 new houses, shops, a hotel and a pub on the 116 acres (47 ha) of land.
Three enormous cooling towers at the disused Didcot A Power Station were demolished in July.
A public consultation, external on the proposals opens at Cornerstone Arts Centre on 17 January.
An outline planning application for the development was expected to be submitted following the consultation.
In October, a major blaze broke out at the neighbouring gas-fired Didcot B power station.
The fire which began in a cooling tower and spread to three others because of strong winds.
