Headington murder arrest after woman, 63, found dead

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 63-year-old woman was found dead at an address in Oxford.
Her death is being treated as unexplained after South Central Ambulance Service was initially called out on Wednesday 22 November.
Paramedics reported the death to Thames Valley Police, who attended Ridgeway Road, Headington, at 22:00 GMT.
A force spokesperson said police have since received information that "raised concerns" and were investigating.
After receiving additional information about the woman's death, police arrested a 65-year-old man from Oxford on Wednesday 6 December.

The force said he had been arrested on suspicion of murder and causing or allowing death or serious injury to a vulnerable adult. He has since been released on bail until 29 February.
A spokesperson added: "Our Major Crime Unit is investigating an unexplained death in Oxford. There is still a police presence at the address and the investigation is ongoing.
"A Home Office post-mortem examination was completed on Monday, but it was not possible to ascertain a cause of death and further investigation is required."
The force confirmed the woman's next of kind had been informed and were being supported by police.
The spokesperson added: "While there is nothing to suggest any threat to the wider public, we appreciate this may be concerning, so anyone with concerns should speak to one of our uniformed officers or contact us."
