Thames Valley Police officer charged with sexual assault

A Thames Valley Police officer has been charged with sexual assault.
PC Nathan Budd was charged by postal requisition with one count of assault on a female over the age of 16.
The accusation is in relation to an alleged incident on 25 November 2022 in Oxford while PC Budd was off duty, Thames Valley Police said.
The officer, who is based at the force's northern headquarters in Kidlington, Oxfordshire, is currently suspended from duty.
He is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court on Monday.
