Toxic fume fears from farm blaze on A457 in Shropshire

Firefighters have been tackling a fire in an industrial unit on a farm in Shropshire.

Residents in Kings Nordley near Bridgnorth were advised to stay indoors and close windows over the possibility of toxic fumes, police said.

Firefighters were called to the scene on the A457 at 0900 BST.

Crews have been scaled back but the nearby Kidderminster Road was closed due to thick smoke although the fire was brought under control.
