A topping out ceremony has taken place for a £35m school building project in Shropshire.

The Abraham Darby Academy and Woodlands Primary School in Telford are being rebuilt on the secondary school's Madeley site.

The combined school building will have capacity for 1,050 secondary school pupils and 420 primary pupils.

Builders finished work on the domed roof on Monday and the building is scheduled to open in January.
