More than half the staff at a Shropshire-based waste and recycling company have lost their jobs after the firm went into administration.
Thirty-seven of the 60 employees at Telford-based Wellings Ltd have been laid off.
Financial advisors Grant Thornton said the firm had experienced "a period of trading losses".
Telford and Wrekin Council some bins had gone uncollected on Tuesday as a result.
The authority said those collections would place on Wednesday instead.
A statement from Grant Thornton said 23 of the staff at Wellings were being kept on as receivers waited for offers from potential buyers.
Directors of Wellings said they had been unable to find an outside investor.
