A town library has closed ahead of its move to a new arts complex.

The Dawley library in Telford will form part of the £16m Phoenix Academy which opens to the public in September.

It will be the second of three new libraries opening in the borough within three years.

The new Dawley library will be followed by another new library in the Southwater One community building in Telford town centre next year.

Last year, the new library at Wellington Civic and Leisure Centre opened.
