Ironbridge Road closed after 'hole appeared'

A road has been closed in Shropshire after "a hole appeared", a council has said.
The closure of the B4373 Ironbridge Road in Ironbridge, near the junction with Calcutts Road, was put into effect after the 3m sq (9 sq ft) and 1.3m (4ft) deep hole opened up.
Telford and Wrekin Council said only residents were being allowed access.
A spokesman said a traffic diversion was in place, but the Ironbridge Road footpath remained open.
