More jobs are expected to go at Aga in Shropshire.

Sixty-three workers at the Telford operation have been told their jobs are at "risk of redundancy".

The firm's US owners said they were implementing a number of organisational changes linked to "current market conditions".

The firm, which which supplies cast iron cookers and stoves, is "working to minimise any potential compulsory redundancies wherever possible."

US-based The Middleby Corporation took over Aga last October.

A spokesman for the Unite union said it was the third year in a row that redundancies had been announced in the run up to Christmas.
