Man dies in Wellington New Year's Day crash

Police said they were called to Whitchurch Drive, Wellington, on Monday
A man died in a crash in Shropshire and two others were seriously hurt, police said.
The single-vehicle crash happened at about 04:15 GMT on Monday on Whitchurch Drive, Wellington, West Mercia Police said.
The 21-year-old died at the scene and the road was closed for several hours while investigations were carried out.
The two other people, a man and woman in their 20s, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
