Thousands compete in 30th Bath half marathon

Thousands of elite athletes and club runners took to the streets of Bath for the city's 30th half marathon.
The race, which started in Great Pulteney Street just after 1100 GMT, took in two laps of the city.
Kenyan Edwin Kipkorir was first home with a time of 64 minutes. The fastest woman, Kenya's Edith Chelimo, recorded a time of 71 mins, 25 secs.
Some 12,000 competitors ran the 13.1-mile (21.1km) course, a spokeswoman for the race said.
Many were raising funds for charity.
Event director Andrew Taylor said it was an amazing feeling working in the finish area.
He said: "The sense of personal achievement that most people have got at that point is all released when they cross the finishing line. There's an amazing feeling of community and camaraderie at that point."
