M5 crash memorial is unveiled on anniversary of Taunton pile-up

The M5 memorial was officially unveiled on Sunday

Memorial events have taken place to remember the people who were killed in a crash on the M5 near Taunton exactly a year ago.

Seven people died, and more than 50 injured, in a 34-vehicle pile-up near junction 25 on 4 November 2011.

The M5 memorial was unveiled at the Hankridge Nature Reserve in Taunton.

A charity concert in aid of the Somerset Accident Voluntary Emergency Service (SAVES) and The Fire Fighters Charity was also due to take place.
