A cyclist who died after being knocked off his bike in a suspected hit and run in Bath has been named by police.
Jake Gilmore, 19, a chef from Oldfield Park, was on his way home from work on Saturday when he was hit by a vehicle on Midland Bridge Road at 21:30 GMT.
He was treated at the Royal United Hospital for serious head injuries but died on Sunday morning with his family by his side, police said.
Avon and Somerset Police appealed for the driver to come forward.
Officers also want any garages, or mechanics who work from home, to let them know if any vehicles are brought in with damage at the front.
Det Insp Charlotte Tucker said: "We would also like to appeal to friends and family of someone who may have been involved in a road traffic collision which damaged their car on Saturday night.
"They may know of someone who is acting suspiciously or withdrawn, especially if asked about the damage to their car.
"We would urge these people - or the driver - to contact us urgently."
