Glastonbury founder Eavis: David Bowie 'absolutely brilliant'
Glastonbury Festival founder Michael Eavis has paid tribute to David Bowie calling him "absolutely brilliant" and saying there was "no-one quite like him".
Bowie, who died following an 18 month battle with cancer, played the Somerset festival twice - in 1971 and 2000.
In 2000, Mr Eavis told the BBC's Jack Murley that he "did the full works - he sang Heroes and it's one of the best songs of all time".
