Man dies after motorbike crashes into telegraph pole

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in Highbridge, Somerset

A man has died after a motorcycle collided with a telegraph pole.

Harry Webber, 25, was taken to hospital after the crash on Mark Road, Highbridge, but died from his injuries.

Police would like to speak to two drivers who may have witnessed the incident on 28 December.

Avon and Somerset Police said: "Our thoughts are with Harry's family who are being supported by a specially-trained family liaison officer.

"We are appealing for witnesses in the area between 02:00 and 02:15 GMT."

Mr Webber, who had been riding a black Yamaha motorcycle, suffered 'significant injuries.'

"We are especially keen to hear from two drivers who were spotted in the area on CCTV," police said.
