A motorcyclist who died after a collision with a van will "never be forgotten", her family has said.

Tributes have been paid to Destiney Rauh, who died following the incident on the A361 in West Lyng, Somerset, on Sunday.

Emergency services attended but the 27-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision, which happened at about 16.35 GMT, to come forward.

In a statement, Ms Rauh's family said they will "forever miss" her.

They said: "Our beautiful Destiney, you were taken from our lives too soon, and you will forever be missed and never forgotten."

Ms Rauh, from Upper Weston in Bath, was riding her motorbike near the junction of the A361 and New Road when the collision happened.

The van driver remained at the scene of the crash to speak to officers, Avon and Somerset Police said.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened or any drivers who may have potentially relevant dashcam footage, the force added.
