Two street artists have completed a mural of a fisherman with his dog for a seaside café.

Robin Gunney and Jeff Paints created the painting on the wall of Take Two Cafe in Burnham-on-Sea.

"I wanted to create something that would be received well by the community," Mr Gunney, who lives in Burnham, told BBC Radio Somerset.

Mr Gunney started painting 15 years ago and has been a professional mural artist for the past six years.

"It's better than a 'real' job. I enjoy creating and the freedom it gives me," he said.

"I finished painting the mural on Sunday and I walked past it with my dog this morning and it was nice to see it," he added.

The Take Two Cafe was happy for him to "beautify" their wall.

"In general, we get positive feedback," Mr Gunney said.

"People stopped us and told us we were good at what we were doing and thanked us."

"I've had my eye on the wall since I moved here a year ago," he said. "I liked having the sea in it and the relationship between the dog and the man."
