Moorland Prison riot: Men in court in Doncaster

Twenty two men have appeared in court charged in connection with a riot at a South Yorkshire prison in 2010.

The men appeared at Doncaster Magistrates' Court following the disturbances at Moorland Prison.

Sixteen men charged with rioting are due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on 1 March and a further six charged with violent disorder are set to appear on 2 March.

About £1m of damage was caused during three days of disorder in November.
