Three men have been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a man who disappeared three years ago.
Thomas Groome, 56, from Ireland, has not been seen since he left his son's house in Doncaster on 1 January 2010.
South Yorkshire Police said his family thought he went to Portugal to start a business, but reported him missing when they could not contact him.
A 36-year-old man from Wheatley and two men from Bentley, aged 23 and 56, are being questioned by police.
South Yorkshire Police said it had been investigating Mr Groome's disappearance since 2010 with assistance from authorities in Portugal and Ireland.
