Mushin Ahmed death: Two men charged with pensioner's murder

Two men have been charged with murder after an 81-year-old grandfather died following an attack in a Rotherham street.

Grandfather Mushin Ahmed was assaulted just off Fitzwilliam Road in the early hours of 10 August.

Damien Hunt, 29, of Doncaster Road, and Dale Jones, 29, of East Bawtry Road, are due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on Monday.

Two other men who were arrested and charged have been released.

Police said an assault charge had been withdrawn from a 21-year-old man.

A 24-year-old local man who was arrested on 19 August has been released from police bail.
