The son of a man jailed as part of a gang who groomed and abused teenage girls in Rotherham has been found guilty of witness intimidation.
Kaleem Ali, 18, left the woman "terrified, shaking and crying," South Yorkshire Police said.
His father, Qurban Ali, 53, was one of six people jailed last week for the "systematic abuse" of 15 girls.
Kaleem Ali, of Clough Road, Masborough, was tried at Rotherham Magistrates' Court and found guilty on Monday.
He will be sentenced on 22 March.
'Inexcusable'
During his trial the court heard Kaleem Ali approached the woman in March 2015.
Det Con Carly Booth said: "Ali behaved in an intimidating and threatening manner towards one of the young women who courageously came forward to report years of sexual abuse.
"Ali's behaviour is inexcusable - he terrified this young woman, leaving her shaking and crying."
Qurban Ali was convicted of conspiracy to rape and jailed for 10 years.
He was jailed alongside brothers Arshid, Basharat and Bannaras Hussain and two women.
