Tommy Ward, 80, died five months after the brutal attack
Two people arrested on suspicion of murdering a Rotherham pensioner have been bailed.
Tommy Ward, 80, died after a violent attack at his home in Maltby in 2015.
A man and woman, both 29, were arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of robbery and murder.
Mr Ward's life savings of £30,000 were stolen during the burglary at his home on Salisbury Road, and he died as a result of his injuries in February 2016.
The ex-miner was found by his carer, and died in hospital five months after the attack.
