Park Hill: Sheffield police officers ill after cleaning chemical contact

Four police officers have been taken to hospital after becoming ill from chemicals in a block of flats.
Emergency services were called to Park Hill, Sheffield, on Monday night where a man was found seriously injured.
The officers felt unwell after entering the man's flat and being exposed to an "unknown chemical", now believed to be have been "household products".
The man, aged in his 30s, remains in a serious condition in hospital while all four officers have been discharged.
South Yorkshire Police said officers attended the scene at about 18:05 BST on Monday where they found a man seriously injured outside the building.
When they entered the man's flat they "came into contact with a chemical substance, now believed be a number of household products, and four officers needed minor medical attention," according to the force.
A spokesperson said they had since been discharged from hospital with "no further symptoms or complications".
The force added that the flat "is free from contamination" and said there are "no concerns for the safety of residents or the wider public".
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident, police said.
