M1 Crash: Long delays after five vehicles collide near Sheffield

A crash involving five vehicles caused long delays on the M1 in South Yorkshire.
The southbound carriageway was completely shut between junction 35 for Rotherham and 34 at Sheffield due to the collision, which happened at about 14:30 BST on Thursday.
Two of the three lanes were reopened at about 16:45 and the third lane reopened at about 19:00.
No one is reported to have been injured in the incident.
