Barnsley: Two charged after attacked man dies in hospital

Two men have been charged with manslaughter after a man died nine days after he was attacked in Barnsley.
Police attended High Street in Thurnscoe in the early hours of 24 September after a man was found unconscious near the Butchers Arms pub.
Scott Jackson, 42, was taken to Northern General Hospital and later moved to Royal Hallamshire Hospital. He died on Tuesday, officers said.
Thomas Bushby and Max Lowson are due to appear at Sheffield Magistrates' Court.
Mr Bushby, 35, of Wensley Street, Barnsley, and Mr Lowson, 26, of Lancaster Street, Barnsley, were arrested along with a 24-year-old man.
The youngest man has since been released on bail.
