Police are searching for a woman after two cane corso-type dogs attacked another dog in South Yorkshire.
Officers said the attack happened on Hague Avenue in the Rawmarsh area of Rotherham on Wednesday.
An 85-year-old woman had been walking her 13-year-old labrador, which required veterinary treatment after being attacked, police said.
The labrador owner was knocked over and suffered injuries to her head, a spokesperson added.
According to South Yorkshire Police, the other woman fled the scene and failed to provide any details.
Officers have appealed for information.
