Person released without charge in Doncaster murder inquiry

One of three people arrested after a man died in a Doncaster street has been released from custody, police said.

South Yorkshire Police said officers were called to Victoria Road in Balby at 01:00 BST on Sunday.

A man found with head injuries near the Park Social Working Men's Club died at the scene.

One person has been released with no further action and two remain in custody on suspicion of murder, officers said.

The victim, thought to be in his 50s, has not yet been named by police.
