Doncaster suspected murder victim named as 'much-loved' grandfather

Tributes have been paid to a man who died after being attacked outside a working men's club in Doncaster.

Jason Gaskin, 53, died after he was found unconscious with head injuries outside Park Social Working Men's Club, in Victoria Road, Balby, on Sunday, South Yorkshire Police said.

His family said he was "loved very much by the traveller community and everybody that knew and met him".

Three people arrested over his death have been bailed by detectives.

Officers arrested a 33-year-old woman and a 47-year-old man on suspicion of murder on Sunday. A second man was arrested on Monday.

Emergency services were called to the working men's club at about 01:00 BST on Sunday.

Mr Gaskin was pronounced dead at the scene despite paramedics and members of the public fighting to save him.

Police have appealed for any potential witnesses to come forward.

A 39-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder on Sunday was released with no further action the next day.
